Interior layout idea and some beauty shots.

Middle left black box is full height cupboard space. Wood tone junk above that is a mini staircase with 90deg turn half way up. Our loft is so big I think we can afford the space a staircase will take up.

Big update! Lots of photos!

First of all, thank you everyone for your input on our living room layout! 200 votes!?!?!? 1000 hits yesterday!? and 500 today!?!? We are shocked and super stoked that every one is so interested in our tiny house! All this feedback really helps keep the energy up for us every day!

We feel bad not responding to all your comments, we will get to them…

If you live in the north west you would know we have had an insane October with beautiful blue skys, lots of sun and warmth. So… we have been very busy every day (10hr days) getting as much done as possible before the rain really sets back in.

Ok, big update… Not lots of text but I’m sure the pictures will speak for themselves. Windows, doors, left over framing and sheathing, wood stove!!!

French doors.

The term “Rough opening” doesn’t exist in my world… Window openings sanded smooth with 120grit.

Fits but I think we would be over our road width limit like this.

Much better. None of these fir windows opened when we bought them. Many hours with a chisel later reveals a fresher breeze.

Living room layout

We are having a very hard time deciding on the living room design. We don’t have to commit to a couch layout right now, but we do need to install the wood stove asap!

So… What option do you like best and why?

Don’t let safety clearances dictate your vote, which ever layout we choose will have appropriate clearances from walls and couch from the wood stove.

Semi-Final window layout… Maybe…

Just finished our final window layout. Big day tomorrow, should have them all framed and installed by dark.

Only other windows to install after this will be opening kitchen and bathroom windows. We had matching windows lined up for that but I dropped one… So, with the help of Mr. Table saw I turned the remaining glass and framework into gable end windows!
